What is Inoculation?

Artificial inoculation technique is being used in agarwood cultivation. Through this technique agar is achieved in less time in comparison to agarwood forest trees. Agarwood tree is difficult to generate oud naturally, for that we uses a  technique called inoculation. Inoculation is a process done by manually by injecting the medicine to the tree for creating oud. It is done in entire tree with a specified distance. One dose will contain about 100 holes. KAFAI is using the artificial inoculation method is applying by  Drilling the bark of the agarwood tree  and Injecting the inoculum . We inject fungus directly though the batter. Fungus injected is all natural and free from chemicals. It usually takes 2 years for aquilaria tree to produce agarwood deep within its trunk.
